It seemed impossible that one of the most significant wines of my life would be born from that abandoned vineyard, because its plants were like femurs of dry wood, stumps petrified by time. But the desire to live for those centuries-old vines was like what I wanted to rediscover to realize the meaning of a wine that reflected the value of a rebirth, like an event linked to eternity. Seeing the life of those plants return from Nothing was an emotion that was also confirmed in the cellar when, after a long fermentation, the liquid developed an extraordinary energy. The moment I decided to bottle it it was crystalline like spring water, watery like plant sap and vibrant like an electric discharge.
